The NPWS supported Volunteers “Royal Bushies” regularly participates in bush regeneration, weed control and other activities. NPWS run various training courses during the year relating to bush regeneration. These courses are advertised on the Volunteer Calendar
Volunteer Induction training :
A half day course on how the volunteer program works including background to Royal NP and NPWS, the VIP (Volunteer Information Portal – My Impact) and full safety brief.
Introduction to Bush Regeneration :
A full day course discussing Bush Regeneration principles and techniques.

General Pesticide Awareness Training for volunteers :
Complete online via VIP (My Profile/Training) – approximately 20-30 minutes.
And some courses are arranged as required.

Asbestos awareness training.
