Starting in 2020, Friends will be organising several guided walks in some of our favourite spots.
These will be a mix of short, easy walks, suitable for all ages, focused on one of a range of subjects, such as plant identification or birds.
Plant ID walks will be looking at iconic native plants which might grow well in your gardens at home.
There will also be some bird-watching activities as the park is home to a huge range of birds not seen elsewhere around Sydney, such as the iconic black cockatoo featured on our logo and the white bellied sea eagle, often spotted on the coast track.
Register your interest, numbers are limited and booking essential.
There will be only 12 participants on the birding walks since a larger group can flush all birds from the vicinity. If we receive more than 12 registrations we will run a 2nd birdwalk if possible. If this is not possible then we will need to reduce the numbers down to 12 by contacting those that booked last and requesting they book on the next bird watching activity, please accept our apologies if this does happen to your booking.
Express interest in participating in these walks. Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
