Voluntary activities run regularly and are a great way to help preserve and protect this beautiful area and to meet new and like-minded people.Volunteering is fun !!

These activities also offer a means for you to get work experience in duties often undertaken by our park rangers. Registration for all voluntary activities is required and can be done below. Once completed, please mail to : Ranger Patricia Nagle, 159 Farnell Ave, Royal National Park NSW 2232

At the moment, volunteering activities cover four broad areas : (i) Coast Track Maintenance (ii) Bush Regeneration and Weed Control, (iii) Litter Collection and (iv) Water Quality Sampling. See the separate pages under the Volunteer heading for the specific details of these activities.

Of course, the Royal is under constant pressure because it is a highly attractive recreational venue so close to a major population base. The Royal needs all the volunteers it can get, so if you’re looking for a way to contribute to the community, volunteering in the Royal could well suit you.
